Started as a Restaurant serving homemade meals , for nearby Vicenza traders on their way to and from neighboring towns. All meals were prepared and served by the hotel’s founder Amabile Boller with the help of her family.
Amabile started her career as chef in Cortina. As business developed, Ristorante Vicenza as it was then called was renamed Hotel Dolomiti after having added 6 guests rooms, making it the first hotel to open in the Vigolana plateau in 1958. Second generation Carlo Ducati and family have been running the hotel ever since. The property was refurbished twice.
